Creating New Legacies: A Ministry, A Movement
We exist only by the Grace of God and for His Glory
Our Mission
Inspiring. Equipping. Investing in mentors....because we need each other.
Our Vision
To re-ignite a movement of mentoring among women in the body of Christ. We believe that mentoring relationships are a lost practice among Christians that must be revived because God uses these relationships to teach and grow us exponentially. Our desire is for women to live lives that glorify God by applying His Truth to how they think about and therefore “do” relationships with God and others.
How?
Creating New Legacies is a women’s mentoring movement. As this practice of mentoring has been lost, most of us do not know where to begin to find a mentor or how to mentor others. Creating New Legacies desires to raise up mentors by inspiring women to invest their life in others, by providing support and training for those who want to mentor, and by helping to pair them with mentees. As the mentor and mentee begin this relationship, the focus will be on learning who God created them to be and how to live in Godly relationships with others.
Myths about who we should be, how relationships should work, and how we find our purpose have been woven into the way we think so slowly and so tightly, that they appear to be true. To live Christ-centered lives, the way we think must be changed by the renewing of our minds. We believe that God desires to use authentic relationships based upon God and His word to renew our minds, bringing us closer to Him and the life He has for us. As women are changed by these relationships, we pray that they will then invest their lives in other women.
Become a Mentor
Without mentors, our ministry does not exist! As a mentor you will invest in the lives of 1 to 3 women while exploring Biblical Truth specifically designed to address the distorted beliefs of our culture in the areas of identity and relationships. As they are being transformed by the renewing of their minds with Truth, the environment of encouragement, exhortation, and Godly love will bring about outward life change. As a result, a mentoring movement will begin, as they continue to be mentored and mentor others, thereby living a legacy of relationship.
